firsttrypilot.com is run by Iron Kite Press. This page explains what the site collects and what we do with it.

Using the site

You can read this site, take the Test Day Simulator, and download the free PDFs without an account or an email address.

The simulator

Your answers, progress, and past scores are saved in your browser’s local storage so you can resume a test. They stay on your device and aren’t sent to us. Clearing this site’s data in your browser deletes them.

If you choose “Email me this report,” your browser sends your email address, your test date (if you enter one), your score, and your list of pages to reread to Kit (ConvertKit), the service we use to send email. Kit then sends you the report and the short emails described next to the form.

Review copy requests

If you request a review copy, we send your first name, email address, and the option you picked (“Which describes you best?”) to Kit. We use them to send your copy and one follow-up email about it.

Unsubscribing and deleting your details

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email [email protected]. We don’t sell or rent your email address.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data, such as your IP address, to deliver pages and protect the site.

Cookies and tracking

The site's own code doesn't set cookies and doesn't run ads.

Links to Amazon

“Get the book on Amazon” and the review links take you to Amazon.com. Amazon’s privacy notice applies there.

Changes and contact

If this changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. Questions: [email protected].
